Parkland Dedication Bylaw and Acquisition Strategy – online engagement

As the City of Guelph grows, we need more parkland to support the recreational needs of all residents.

The City is engaging with the community to receive feedback for consideration on both the update to the Bylaw and the new Parkland Acquisition Strategy. This is the first round of feedback opportunities with more conversation coming throughout 2026.

In this round of engagement we are offering a variety of ways to get involved, starting with Online information and a survey for you to complete between November 3 and December 7, 2025.

• participate in a virtual Public Open House, on Tuesday November 25th, 10:30 a.m. – noon on Zoom. (please register on Have Your Say by November 17 to receive the zoom link)
• or Drop in at our In Person Public Open House on Thursday November 27th, between 6 to 8 p.m. in the City Hall Atrium (1 Carden street).
