Join us to learn about spring 2025 construction and future stages of York Road construction. We will share details on construction impacts during Phase 4, Stage 1 construction and a layout of the future construction in the York Road corridor, east of Victoria Road (Phase 4, Stages 2 and 3). Additionally, you’ll be able to sign up to receive project updates.
Construction is anticipated to begin in mid-May 2025 and be completed before the end of 2025. Final road paving is expected to be completed in spring 2026. A construction notice will be shared with you before the start date.
Ahead of construction, the contractor is responsible for completing a condition survey of all buildings in the construction area. If your property is adjacent to the construction area, look for a notice from our contractor. The contractor will provide an explanatory letter with a formal request to carry out an inspection of your home [or business] ahead of construction.
The City of Guelph appreciates your patience and understanding as we complete this important infrastructure project. For more information about this project, including updates, please visit guelph.ca/construction.
