We’re back to host our second public open house of 2024 for the Downtown Infrastructure Renewal Program (DTIRP) (a follow-up from our open house in March of this year). This open house will focus on the capital implementation plan (i.e., planning) for DTIRP, which will establish how this work will be carried out (what areas in what phases). In addition to display boards and activities, we’ll have a presentation starting at 6:30 p.m. with a question-and-answer component.
We’ll also be speaking about the construction of Phase 1 of DTIRP on Wyndham St. N., which was preliminarily approved on September 4, at City Council’s Committee of the Whole to be the fast-paced option (e.g., 2 years) instead of slow-paced (e.g., 4-5 years). You can view the recording of the meeting here. Speaking of Wyndham – we want to hear your thoughts on the design and the future of St. George’s Square.
We’re also expecting to have other information booths there about Downtown waste, Downtown Heritage Conservation District, the Community Planning Permitting System project, and public washrooms in the Downtown.
Can’t attend in person? Watch our engagement page for information on joining the presentation component virtually.
